While our blog has focused recently on the updates and the specific aspects of the renovation process at the Linden Project, at Lucky Pearl Interiors we never lose sight of the fact that we started this project for only one reason: to help transform the lives of the Janniere family by providing them with an updated home in which they can feel comfortable, where they can continue to prosper and of which they can be really proud. Our mission, always first in our minds, helps us to stay focused when we inevitably encounter obstacles during our planning and execution phases. The family’s patience and our team’s dedication to our tasks truly helps make this project possible.
This blog post marks the last before the reveal of the Linden Project Phase II renovations. I can’t believe how quickly time has flown! If you have been with us since the beginning of this Linden series, get ready for a lot of sneak peeks, but if you have just landed on this page WELCOME! Catch up on our series by reading the introduction to our project and the wonderful Janniere family who inspired it, our plans for the bathroom, kitchen and living room, and the reveal of Phase I – The Bedroom. We are so close to the finish line and cannot wait to style and shoot this newly transformed space, but until then here are some of the changes that have taken place since we last saw the Janniere home on demo day.
Starting in the bathroom; we repaired the wall that had rotted away due to a hidden leak, prepped the walls for our marble tiles and then actually started working away on their installation. So far, the pattern is precisely what I envisioned for this room and is turning out perfect. The black may seem like an odd choice in a small bathroom, but the contrast with the walls, the white vanity, and the paint color will tie it all together.
In the kitchen, we started by laying down new floors, priming the walls, and installing the kitchen cabinets. They are just the perfect shade of grey and will be a great contrast to the white subway tile backsplash. We have put the appliances back into the room and are very happy with how they look.

Lastly, the living room; in here we continued the floors throughout the room and painted the walls a beautiful bright white shade. We repaired the trim and replaced all of the outlets and switches. The entry closet also received a new coat of paint in preparation for the installation of the IKEA Pax system.

It gets me pumped when we can easily see the plan coming together and can catch glimpses of the elements that will complete each space. I hope that you are all as excited as we are! Stay tuned next week as we reveal the Linden Project bathroom in all its glory!
