My mornings 🍳start early for the most part, and by the time 8 AM rolls through, I have exercised, meditated, photographed a project, and probably began writing a blog post draft. The choices I make are intentional so that when the end of the day arrives and I start feeling like I have not accomplished everything that I hoped for, I can be a bit more understanding with myself. Today, I'm choosing to shine for as long as I can manage and then taking a 😴. Happy Friday!

As the hubs and I continue our 🏡 hunt all over upstate New York, I cannot help but imagine what design plans I will create for our future home. As I pull together inspiration for each room, I find myself gravitating towards these four images that, although distinctive, all capture the essence of what I want for our home.

From the lovely newel posts and balusters in this entry area designed by @briahammelinteriors, the sophisticated color choices in @StevenGambrel 's design, the timeless look in this living room design by @McGrath2 's, to the traditional yet modern kitchen combo by @Millieturnerdesigns, I am inspired by it all! In any business, administrative tasks can often take over each day before any of the fun parts begin. It is no different at LPI, where we plan projects for months and months before being able to swoop in and execute an incredible transformation. I am often asked how we remain inspired to continue a project when the planning process can take so long. The answer is always - "It's my purpose".

It took a long time to understand what I wanted to do on this planet and years of preparation 👩🏽‍💻 to execute my vision, but once in place, there is no wait long enough to deter me from seeing the results of any project we design. So, on this sunny Friday, if your purpose does not align with your day-to-day activities, I urge you to begin changing that right away. You will not regret the results!
