It’s been quite a while since I’ve posted an update to the Alison Jr. Farmhouse dollhouse. While work has stalled a bit, as I’ve taken on other design work, I did finalize the look that I wanted for this room. To continue to tie in this bedroom to the rest of the dollhouse, I am using the same shiplap I used in the kitchen. Instead of carrying it up the wall, I am adding beautiful wallpaper to the top portion.
Creating this room took some time as I needed to fabricate the walls to build the bathroom, but once completed, it really made a difference.

The crown and baseboards are the same that I’ve used throughout the house (for continuity), and I’ve chosen the exact door as the kitchen. While this bedroom is pretty bright and feels a bit more feminine, structurally, I think it ties in nicely to the rest of the spaces.

Work isn’t complete just yet, but I’m excited to see how this space turns out, and I already have my eye on some beautiful pieces that will complete the vibe I’m after — specifically, this French style nightstand and this beautiful print.
Stay tuned to see more!
Until next time!
